DON’T RUSH YOURSELF
Sometimes when we feel like we’ve had enough, we are ready to throw in the towel right then and there and hope for the best. But there is no guarantee we’ll find a job before our money runs out.

HAVE A PLAN
This included sending out a number of resumes each week in areas that interested me, as well as giving myself flexibility to attend interviews and follow up with prospective employers.

START SAVING
If you set aside a fair amount of savings, you will be able to adjust with more peace of mind to your new job without having to worry about how you’re going to make ends meet before you see that first paycheck. Sometimes you may not make your full wage until you complete training.

CUT COSTS OR EARN SUPPLEMENTAL INCOME
Perhaps you are interested in leaving a field that pays well to venture into a field you are more passionate about. But perhaps you need to build a product or clientele or simply learn how to survive on less. Some expenses in our lives are based on our wants rather than our needs and can be cut out when necessary…
