1) Family support – to allow her independently take decisions and help her move in the corporate, to support her in house hold chores, to ensure the family does not fall back on her income earning capability so that she does what she likes, encourage discussions with her and help her in both personal and professional priorities.
2) Planning Marriage / Family – most of the times in particular while planning a family, the lady sacrifices her career. During marriage planning, she is expected to be in the same location as her spouse. This comes as barrier to her to keep her career options intact many a times although there are new trends emerging that are truly to be appreciated.
3) Mindset of her younger days brought up - the culture in which she is raised plays a crucial role. Her mindset to adapt to new situations, surrounding etc is important & they are determined largely by her learning at younger days phase.
4) Qualification - Usually top qualified ladies are determined of their career as their background is strong and they are independent of others. They can survive anywhere is a strong motivational support for them.
5) Critical and crucial periods - Some of them gain momentum as they pass through tough periods in thier life. Many of them in my experience after having started a late career have done extremely well in their professional life. The reason is as there is no one to support these women, both financially and physically, they emerge as stronger species irrespective of educational levels, only depending largely on their will-power.
