Below are examples of quality, well paying finance careers. Each position differs from the other in terms of skills required and challenges faced. One does not necessarily start from that rank.
Financial Director: having the highest finance position means that one has a responsibility of all the cash flow of a company and therefore one must be confident, competent and skilled enough.
Business Analyst: The job description involves an analysis of all the factors affecting the company. It entails analyzing the problems and providing viable solutions. The post is crucial for a company to survive the challenges of the business.
Private Equity: It’s complicated but commonly works on providing capital for business start-ups. Individuals working in private equity site risks and rewards as they go through investment portfolios. Both investors and Industry experts rely on their advice on portfolio and investment management.
Management Accountant: They perform the work of predicting future finances thus providing information necessary for strategies and planning.
Auditor: Basic functions of the internal and external auditors are almost the same the only difference being that the external auditor works for city companies whereas internal auditors work within stipulated firms. Thus only few large companies can validate the employment of internal auditors.
Underwriter: Underwriters perform crucial roles being responsible for premium and car career finance insurance rates among other things, so this can provide interesting opportunities.
Credit controller: They work with account receivable to ensure regular payment of the company’s invoices though their role may vary with different companies.
