Best Answer:

What is your greatest challenge you’ve had with your employee? – Present a scenario you had with your previous employmnet and state what you did to accomplish. A specific issue you can recall and the steps you did.

What makes a good manager? – Good managers are the managers who can understand the needs of his or her team member. Not comparing one employee to another when it comes to performace is a good way to maintain a healthy relationship in the workplace. Some employees are slow and some are fast so when managing these people, you need to make sure you are aware of how these people perform in the workplace. Also, when you encounter a problem with a specific employee, make sure that you talk to him/her in private and in a positive way instead of bringing it in the meeting without speaking to the person first. When you do discuss it in the meeting, make sure that you address it like the whole department made the mistake so the person who is responsible will not feel bad. I suggest bringing the issue by discussing the problem and resulution instead of discussing the possible penalties that way the attention is focused on the issue and not to a person or other team members.

How do you define a leadership? – Leadership is the same as management. Leaderhip is leading not following. There are certain things that you need to be aware when leading because you might end up being a follower if you don’t know what you are doing. There are employees who can run you and take your job away from you if you don’t know where to go when it comes to solving problem in the office or you don’t have enough information to provide with your member. Think of a bus driver or a pilot; they are in charge of the bus or airplane. I have the control and if you have something to say or suggest, I will make sure I approve it before you make a move. Sounds harsh but good leadership is about knowing where you are heading.
