Are you thinking about retiring? Did you know that statistics show that “most people need 80% of their working salary to afford their retired lifestyles.”

Many retirees have either re-entered the job market (on a part-time or consulting basis) or are thinking about their next career move.

Retirees who move on to second careers during their retirement – can think of this time of their lives – as an opportunity for them to be able to achieve some of the benefits that a traditional retirement offers them. Retirees can also move on to leading a very purposeful, productive,

knowledgeable, and passionate life, one with a second career.

Most people are multi-talented. You didn’t use all of your talents, knowledge, and capabilities that you have – in your work that you did before you retired. This time of your life offers an excellent opportunity for you (retirees) and also for companies. Companies need the knowledge and experience that you have, especially now-a-days, more than ever, with so many baby boomers reaching retirement age during the next ten years. If you need or want to continue to work during your retirement, opportunities are very good for you.

Retirement is a new phase in a person’s life. If you are now retired – or you will be retiring soon – you can obtain solid guidance to help you to make a good, sound, second-career plan for yourself. One that is a good fit for you.

Take the time to seek solid guidance for yourself – for your retirement years – whether your goal is to travel extensively, visit family and friends more (who live a good distance away from you), explore new places to live, and/or to have better, quality family time.

For retirees, making the right retirement career choices can give you more enjoyment, more happiness, more rewards, and add more meaningful years to your life.

Also, you will probably need more money than you think – during your retirement years.
