How To Work in a Movie Production Studio

So you want to find the job of your dreams in a movie production studio.  Well, get ready for some hard work, a few disappointments, and the enjoyment of knowing you’re making your dream come true.

Movie production studios usually categorize projects into three phases.  They are pre-production, production and post-production.   Pre-production is the planning phase of the film that includes aspects such as budgeting and laying out a storyboard.  The production phase is the phase where the actual film is made.  The post production part of the process is where the film is edited.  The last phase is the distribution phase where the film is released and marketing is done.
