Fast food is always hiring, and most of the time they are happy to hire teens.
Seek out a place your friends don’t go, having them trying to hang around while you’re working is a pain!
On the other hand, you want to stay close to home to make it easier to get there on time, and faster to get back to being a teen in summer when you are off work.
For a teen job, you are better off going out and looking at your options. Go alone, not with a gaggle of friends. Go clean, alert, and cheerful looking. Take a pen. For extra credit, carry a notebook so you can write down the names of places you put in applications.
I notice you write well, smile and speak as well and you’ll have a job quickly! I also notice you’re asking this question before school gets out… good planning! Good luck.
