Everybody knows the fundamental rules of interviews: you need to sell yourself
as a brand and give yourself the edge over competitors.

Research the company, get a good night’s sleep, turn up early, make good eye
contact and never underestimate the importance of presenting yourself well
from top to toe.

These are unwritten rules that every jobseeker should not only practise, but
know off by heart.

There isn’t a science behind the perfect interview. Indeed there are many
factors – how you performed; what frame of mind the interviewer was in;
whether your research was up to scratch.
