Job interview question-how to answer “Why are you interested in working with us?”

This question requires you to have some basic knowledge about the company you intend to work for. In order to be prepared for that question, it is best to get online and do research about the company. Look at their mission statement, their values, their customers, their products, read press releases. All of this taken together will give you a good picture of what the company is. Not just what they do, but their financial status and standing, benefits they offer, etc.
You don’t really want to say because of their benefits, you want to say because the company has a long history of success and you are looking to associate yourself with a successful company not only to enrich your career but join their team and offer what you believe are your best assets. Companies want to know what you have to offer them as well as the other way around.
If they have products/services that you believe in, you can say that you want to be a part of getting these products/services to the public. You could say that the job description fits really well with what your vision of your ideal job is. No matter what the reason is, if you do your research and truly find a reason to work for the company, it will sound genuine.
Sample answer:”Because this company is the best of all its competitors and I would be proud to be part of its success. You have the most professional reputation, offer great opportunities for learning and advancement and have a reputation as a great employer.”
