Looking for a job just became a whole lot easier. There are jobs that need to filled in this year of economic uncertainty. You just have to look in the right place. Ten cities across the United States are looking for workers. They have golden opportunities for jobs. You might be the person that can fill that job vacancy. You might already live in the city that needs to hire people.
If not, it might be a great thing to move to a boom city that has so much opportunity to offer.
Here are the ten listed from one to ten and then after the initial list there will be an explanation as to what areas they are hiring.

Here are the reasons why these cities so desperately have vacancies job positions to fill:
Madison, Wisconsin has very low unemployment. Madison is a major research employer due to the University of Wisconsin having the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation that fuels major job growth in biotech, healthcare and medical devices industries. This city is historically recession proof.
Washington D.C. is where all the action is! Washington employs thousands of government workers. But the Bush administration added thousands of more jobs due to the creation of the wars going on in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Boston Massachusetts employs thousands of workers through the colleges here. Boston also has a very large elderly population that needs to be taken care of in the hospitals. Area research institutions need employees also. Doctor’s positions aren’t the only jobs that need to be filled; back office workers are needed to fill office, management and financial positions.
Richmond Virginia has a lot going on! That’s why this area is another recession proof city. There are many employers not just one or two that Richmond relies on. There are military bases here, many service and public accounting jobs. With the nations capital three hours away there are a lot of government jobs too.
Milwaukee Wisconsin has a large aging population that has seen job growth in the health sector by 30,000 last years alone. Chicago is only an hour away by train, so people live here and commute to work in Chicago also.
Pittsburgh Pa has strong educational, healthcare and government jobs that keep this city rolling. University of Pittsburgh Medical Center employs 40,000 workers alone. Banking
and technology keep the job market here growing by leaps and bounds.
Baltimore Maryland has a large educational employment sector. The areas of professional and business services have grown and are in need of employees. Baltimore is also close to Washington and many workers commute to Washington and live in Baltimore where it is cheaper to live.
Seattle Washington has a large biotech and healthcare industry that always need more workers.
There is a large elderly population here also and area hospitals need nurses and doctors.
Houston Texas has a large need for government workers. The oil and gas industries are centered here and need more employees also. 11,000 government jobs were added in this city alone last year.
Dallas Texas has many government positions to offer also. Dallas is also another large energy producing city and needs people to work in the energy industries.
So you see there are plenty of jobs to be had in this economic recession. You may have to move, but for a larger salary and better weather, it might be worth it. Immigrants from many years ago moved for better opportunities in the United States and forged a new life for themselves. The healthcare and energy industries are growing employment sectors where many thousands of jobs are waiting just for you.
