UK needs radical policies to help economy create jobs

aspects of human behaviour, except economic.

That quote was immortalised in the novel’s 1970 film version made at the start
of a decade of economic turmoil. And that’s right back where we’re headed.

A rising claimant count, increasing inflation and anaemic growth. Remind you
of times past? That’s what we face today and the common thread between the
economic gloom of the 1970s and that of today is an unpopular Labour
Government acting as patron to a Titanic public sector threatening to pull
us all down as it sinks.
