Your resume should be updated frequently, especially if you’re applying for a specific job. Along with writing an original application letter to a prospective employer, your resume should be equally current. Some tips on making the most positive presentation include:
1. Find out as much as you can about the duties involved in the job, and make your resume information as close to that job as you can. Keep it honest and don’t make promises you can’t fulfill. If you get the job and can’t do it, it could result in embarrassment and a fast track out the door.
