Vistas San Quentin: Giving a Job a New Perspective

Robert Wong began his career at 23 as a correctional officer at San Quentin. Now, 27 years later, he is ending it as the acting warden. He oversees 2,000 employees and 5,200 prisoners, including 680 on death row. Few inmates see the bay view that is his paradise. (His words have been edited and condensed.)
