What do HR department look for When reading a resume?
The HR department looks at it first to screen out the unqualified folks who did not pay close attention to the requirements. After that they generally look for the following:
#1. Experience
#2. Core competencies, education and skills required are a match
#3. Industry specific experience is a plus
#4. How well they performed in their job
#5. Added value they can bring through complimentary skills, talents and
abilities (this is added value).
#6. Able to travel or relocate if needed?
