There are some resorts that hire aliens as employees so that in different cultures to help diversify the workforce and to help meet the visitors of the same nationality. Officer Guest Relations or Concierge
A Client Relations Officer or concierge is someone who is responsible for meeting the needs of guests at the resort. This person receives and provides assistance to people in control at times of activities for guests and address complaints or questions. The guest relations officer’s primary objective is to provide excellent customer service and for the guests as the top priority. In some resorts, greets guests with a concierge and his big warm smile as we enter the main entrance, some even offer flowers or leis. A concierge can also run some errands for guests, such as the purchase of personal needs or to buy tickets for a tour. A must for this position is patience, flexibility, pleasant personality, good communication skills and excellent customer service skills. Guide
A tour guide is someone who has a guest or a group of guests to visit some major attractions and sights in the area. This person must be people with good communication skills and be familiar with the various tourist spots. The ability to speak more than one
dialect is an advantage, knowing how to speak the native dialect of that country where English is not a predominant language is also very useful in finding more about the locals. Learning a language most of the numbers of tourists would also be beneficial. For example, if the station receives a lot of visitors in Japanese or Chinese, learn the dialect would be very helpful in understanding your needs and questions. Years of experience in the travel industry or the hospitality would be helpful when applying for the position of a tourist guide.
Food and Beverage Service Representative
Resorts are popular venues for banquets and conferences. A representative of food and drink is someone who sets the tables with place settings and serving meals to guests. In other words, this position is similar to a waiter or waitress. However, unlike a restaurant, food and drink for a service representative action must have extensive experience in the organization and meet the needs of conference and banquet attendees who have their meals, planned before the occasion. This person has to go through an extensive training program to meet the customers properly and in a presentable manner. Experience in the label on the customer service is a necessity. A representative of foods and drinks can expect to receive tips in addition to regular pay.
Waiter or Mixologist
Resorts have bars where they serve alcoholic beverages. There are bars in restaurants, poolside or in the club has a budget of bars or bar mixologists. To become a waiter or a mixologist
must be over 21 years of age and should be familiar with different types of alcoholic beverages. It is also necessary that the bartender how to mix different types of beverages. Some waiters go to bartending school, but some do not have to go to school to train as a waiter. To be a bartender without going to Bartending School, an experience waiting tables can also be classified as a waiter. A bartender or mixologist should be happy, people, and be able to monitor customers to avoid serving drinks to minors or serving too many drinks a person in one sitting. This person must be able to tell your client if he or she has a drink in a polite but firm manner. It also helps if a waiter at an international resource to learn about the different languages in order to be able to communicate well with customers. Lifeguard
A lifeguard’s job is crucial to ensure safety while the guests enjoy their time at the pool or beach. A lifeguard must be physically fit and able to handle emergency situations, such as saving someone from drowning or being able to apply first aid. To be a lifesaver should a person be a good swimmer and fast, and certification. The American Red Cross has programs to certify lifeguards; obtaining such a certification can help a person lands a job on national and international tours. Experience in administering first aid, as word of mouth is one of the qualifications that a person must have the land for the purpose of this work.
